Hey there can someone help me please.
The two equations bellow represent two moving objects where m is time in minutes and d is the distance in metres;
d= m( 40 – m ) + 3 and d= 23m – 1
so to find the time (m) when the two are together I assume I need to have one equal the other and solve for m right? The problem I am having is I cant work out how to finish it off....
I need to solve for m
m( 40 – m ) + 3 = 23m – 1
