Solid chrome wheel to the rear?

I was in the same boat with the 18" Reaper on the front and no match for the rear available. I went with chromed stock FLHX rear. Looks great to me but if you lay your head on the ground you can probably see that they don't match.

I like the solid rear wheel. You can see it, but keep it clean and the chrome looks like your are looking through the wheel anyhow.

This is my ride

I did it. Chrome fatboy wheel on the rear, PM Gasser on the front. 2 reasons. The cost, and the ease of cleaning the rear wheel. It has 4" stretched bags, and all you really can see is the chrome rim. If I had a pocket full of money I would have put a Gasser on the rear.

Those all look great really like the solid wheel! That's the look I'm going for the chrome sets off the Black Pearl! Now HD Solid or RevTech RevPro wheel??????? And when I did the front I did ceramic bearings what a difference that made, so will do it again. Stopping by the HD shop on the way home NOW to order!

this is something that i will consider when i switch my wheels.... especially since i am leaning towards keeping the stock size in the rear.. OHHHHHH !!!!! ...... i usually hear alot of gasping when i say that...but the truth is i don't see the need for a bigger rim on the back..i actually think the 18" rear makes the back of the bike look higher alot of the time...plus i gotta think that a 16" tire rides a little better then an 18" tire. so with a 16" in the rear you REALLY dont see much of the back wheel other then the lip. The cleaning fator is a definate plus too...
BTW..my front will be a 19"...... max bling WITHOUT messing with the bikes geometry...i've been looking into this for the past few months and now the 2011 CVO SG comes with a 19" front...with a 130 tire JACKPOT...that CVO SG front setup might just find its way onto my bike...at $750 that 19" Agitator wheel is in the running.....
