pretty sure he is not, he isnt even in the states afaik~

I would definitely suggest you pick up an E70 (provided it has a stable firmware). That phone was so close to being perfect but the little things made me sell it. Now that the text message lag has all been cleared up, I'm still tempted to go back to it from time to time. It's really hard to give up the N73 though.

Moto UI is more than enough to keep people away from them. That's why they are redoing it based on a Linux platform. Their new one is nice but hardly superior to Symbian.

Over a Moto? I would take even a 1112 or 1600. I can't believe I lusted after a V600 for so long only to be presented with the only UI ever to work against the user. That phone was simply unusable. I won't give Moto even a second look until they overhaul that UI.

I could never see myself using a Motorola, at all. I've been using my E61 for the past month and a half, and three weeks ago I picked up a HP hw6955, and my preference still lies with the E61 in overall funcions. Yes the HP has built in GPS, but I have the LD-3W and tomtom 6 running on the E61, and it works great, if not better than the built in gps receiver.

There's a science to keyboards on smartphones too. Usually, unless it's terrible, you like the first one you ever use because you don't know anything else. When you touch other ones you start to get a feel for which ones are better than others. Having played with the keyboards on Nokias like the 9300, 6820, 6800, E61, and E70, the little Moto T-Mobile released with a keyboard, Cingular's 8125, and a couple different Blackberrys, I still rank the E70's keyboard somewhere towards the top. After using a butterfly keyboard (like the BB Pearl), you really start to appreciate other keyboards. It is HARD to get used to pushing a button not 2, but THREE ways depending on what you want it to do.

well the htc excalibur s620 gave the e61 a run ... and it's better in some regards... cam, size, keypad, dpad.. but overall i don't like windows and found the browsering just not as good.

but if they made an e61i that has the nice keys and size of the excaliber with a cam.. i'd be most impressed
