I changed the front rotors and pads on my 04 Mazda Tribute today. They were really in bad shape. I had to let a little brake fluid out on each side in order to compress the calipers back far enough. After I was done on one side I started the car and pressed the pedal a couple times. Then I repeated on the other side. Before finishing, i checked the fluid reservoir and topped it off to the Max. line. I drove it about 10 miles of stop and go traffic and while I do have reliable brakes now, the pedal seems soft. I'm wondering if the brake lines have air in them. If so, what is the best way to fix it with ease?
