social services taking parents to court??

hi abit of advice for my friend shes in a really bad situation and before u judge please read this through ,her 2 children was taken from her on the 15th may she was told thye would only be taken over the weekend then returned on the monday which never happend ,her solicitor toldher today that the papers were being served for court this wednesday coming so when can she expect to be in court ? does anyone know how this works because when she asks any one from authority thye all give her the same answer ,we dont know ,which is very depressin for her to say the least, she is a wicked mum but social services think she is menatlly unstable to look after her children i strongly disagree but hey my opinion does not count in these sort of things ,do you think there is a possibilitly she may et them back? anyone been through this ? what happens after the papers have been served ec? many thanks in advance xx
