Social Sciences assignment - help pls. (OU degree)?

"...ways in which differences and equalities are made and REMADE on a street...". I don't really understand what's required. Do I have to point how dealing with of one sort of differences and inequalities creates another problem? How to understand this question?
Note: the word REMADE is the one confusing me.

The use of 'remade' clearly refers to the fact that the way that individuals relate to each other on any given street is not static. This assignment is about making that observation with examples.
