Yeah context is such funny shit. Like, if you arrange to obtain some medical procedure, you have a right to what you've purchased. And that's the exact same thing as saying that you have a right to health care... right, you stupid, cranky old bastard?

A JD 4040 is no damn lawn mower. It is a 4WD full sized tractor capable of dragging at least a 10 ft plow at a fairly good pace.

Way off in the distance, I eventually bail on the rig, still running and plowing, and leave it to it's own destiny...

You, on the other hand, after receiving the beat down you deserved, have been cuffed, stuffed, and are on the way back to the station for processing. Your Stingray securely stored in the trunk of the squad car...

Enjoy the ride!

Forcing me to stop and not allowing me to pass. Asking me questions about who I am, where I am coming from, where I am going, peering into my vehicle for evidence of "suspicious" activity.

wheher I do or not, what does that have to do with your idiotic answer?

The judge acknowledged it was unconstitutional. Your answer couldn't have been more ignorant.

Bullshit

they force you to roll down the window and they force you to talk to them so hey can search for evidence that you're drunk...they may call it inspect or question, but it's a search.

You can get a DUI if the officer can tell that you either drove or had the intent to drive. Very but true.

In FL if you want to pass out in your car you're supposed to put the keys outside of the cabin or not be in the driver's seat. Oh and dont park on the side of a roadway.

i never realized the 7th amendment used a specific dollar amount. what kinda po-dunk founding fathers lack the foresight to predict inflation

Bringing emotion into legislation is one of the biggest problems in this country.

Sorry about your loss, but quite frankly.. quit being a fucking pussy.

and btw, to all the people saying "driving is a privilege, not a right".....you're wrong.

driving became a right a while ago through a bunch of court decisions.

http://drowningindebtorg.com/politics-and-history/driving-right.html

if you want to try to argue that it can't be a right because you need to be licensed, or because the "rights can't be taken away", then you must also not believe that owning a gun is a right because both conditions apply to that as well.

driving became a right. please stop talking about it like a privilege.

this

Why not:

Vehicle safety checkpoints?

Seatbelt checkpoints?

Insurance checkpoints?

Stolen vehicle checkpoints?

Curfew checkpoints?

License validity checkpoints?

SMOG checkpoints?

You all get the idea.

Don't be stupid. Those are laws that control the flow of traffic. How many beers I had before starting the car doesn't affect the flow of traffic if I'm handling my vehicle in accordance with all traffic control laws.
