so why did Maya Rudolph leave SNL? She's so great!!! I love

her!? She's one of the funniest gals to ever be on SNL! Her skits were great! I wonder why she left.
 
That's like why Tina Fey left. I was so upset when she left, and when Jimmy Fallon left. They were awesome. Mayay Rudolph had been there for a while, maybe she just felt her time was up. She was pretty hilarious, though. Probably the funniest female comedian of our time, and one of the funniest comedians, periods.
 
before the writer's strike, maya was the lone hold out right before the 07-08 of snl started. she demanded more money and it was a back and forth fight right up to the end. snl/nbc and maya came to a compromise and she was in the season opener and all the episodes to the strike.
i'm thinking she either quit during the strike or she was asked to leave the show.
