so who bought an i-phone

well no a business user would be more like what ihave @ 165 pr month including unlimited data, and 2000 min.

i just dont like the idea that you cannot even think about picking a plan lower, or shorter terms with this phone, and to top it off you get zero discount when you purchase it for signing a 2 yr contract unlike every other phone on the market

welll

poor performance (battery wise)
AT&T not being able to handle the activation volume
no 3g
high cost

it has its share of problems

BTW i love the numbers

something like 40% were nokia/moto users
30% treo
and like 6% blackberry

it does everything it says it will do, and very well. with each day more and more better news about it comes, like exchange support, 3rd party apps already available, EDGE speed getting a boost etc.

and really, besides initial cost which isn't any worse tha a pda phone + data plan + ipod, its teh same price over the long haul if not cheeper than a similar phone + plan

I'll eventually move on to a phone like this (i love gadgetry like any guy) but not right now. I REALLY just need a phone that performs it's intended purpose. that's make phone calls.
