So when will I just be able to walk into a store and buy a PS3 for the actual MSRP?

My friends are trying to tell me to buy a PS3 now on ebay because those are going to be the last ones available before Christmas. Theres no way thats true, has anyone found out if stores are getting more soon?
 
Stores will be getting more, but they will still be next to impossible to get your hands on.

I don't know why anyone would want to OWN an first gen PS3 though, that is just asking for trouble.
 
yeah, stores should be getting "unexpected" small shipments thru xmas.

so just show up a target every morning and hope to get lucky

I hear the next major production run is not until spring
 
Im waiting on my ps3 till spring. I just got a DS and if i can get my hands on WII id get that too. Not really looking for graphics looking for multiplayer fun and puzzle games like Zelda TP.

You guys read the review they did of the ps3, where it says its not as capable as the 360? I was like wtf when i read that you cant play ur music while playing ur games on the ps3.
 
i think you are talking about the NY times article. They blasted the PS pretty good. and they should.. overpriced piece of grab-ass-tic dog poo
 
Yeah thats what it was. I was shocked by what they said about the ps3. And they are right they still came out with it to dam quick. All i read about is how fun the Wii is. Havent read anything on the ps3.
 
my 360 is on the back burner now that the Wii is in the room... I cant get enough of it. I just despritly want a multi-player live type.... that would cap the system off 10/10
