currently 'in DEP' (not really but i got to the meetings)
I don't have a navy contract yet because the ratings i want (seabees) aren't opening up. My recruiter has told me I should have a back up rating in mind just in case. I got a 98 on the ASVAB and he suggests i should go nuke or advanced electronics, but neither of them interest me much. I was looking into IS(intelligence specialist), and it seems like all they do is look at satellite photos and make powerpoints...what else do they do?
Also, does anyone know if seabee ratings are soon to open up? thatd be awesome
also, whats the enlistment obligation? I know for seabees its 5 years and for advanced electronics its 6, but i cant find the length for intelligence specialist.
