so what do feminists want in 2009 AD........will any feminist answer this

As a thousand feminists, you'll get a thousand answers.

As for THIS specific feminists, I'd like to see people stop trying to make the term "feminist" synonymous with all that is evil in the world. I'd like to see people stop "demonizing" those who identify with being feminists, and realize that we ALL have a right to our own opinions and beliefs. More live and let live instead of trying to shove beliefs down each others throats.

I want to see people truly EDUCATE themselves as to what feminism truly is, and not rely on right wing political pundits and loud mouth radio show hosts to define it for them. I'd like to see fewer people insisting on constantly being either/or in their reasoning and instead realize the world isn't black and white and there are many shades of gray in between....

but then I suppose the same could be said for any topic.
 
I'm pretty sure they just want to keep pretending women don't have equal rights.

If they can do that while also pretending men are mindless barbarians that are out to get women... then they stay pretty happy.
 
Personally, nothing more than to see women everywhere enjoying the same freedoms and rights I've always had in life, rather than suffering horribly *just* for being born with a vagina.

Not so crazy, eh?

I'll be satisfied that feminism is no longer necessary when this happens. Until then, I can't see any reasons so far not to support it.

There's already progress. I can't wait to see it completely come to fruition.
