So was I accepted? Email from College?

So I applied to UA about two weeks ago, and I have been emailing an Admission Officer about a few questions i had, and tonight I recieved an email from her stating:

In any event, you have received standard admission to The University of Akron and will be eligible for merit based scholarships as well. As your admission stands, you will be able to enroll in classes and work with a team of advisors who will help you to schedule prerequisites for the College of Engineering. After having completed such requirements, you will be able to apply for an Inter College Transfer (ICT) into Engineering.

We welcome your enrollment next fall and believe that you will have a successful academic career.

I applied for engineering but I had an ACT score of 23, not 24. That is why the section talks about engineering.

You were accepted to the university! Congratulations!

You aren't in the engineering major yet, though. However, you're allowed to take all the pre-engineering courses - your advisor will help you pick them out - and so long as you do well in those, you can apply to engineering and you should get in.
