did he serve his full last term or was it a couple of months short.did he still get to have coffee and leave a note for george bush during bush's inauguration?if you get impeached 1st term can you ever become president againand can vice presidents get impeached and Have a vice presdiedent of the u.s. ever die and the 3rd person of succession becomes presidentwhat oath did he take and lie on

clinton was impeached by the House of Representatives on December 19, 1998.And acquitted by the Senate on February 12, 1999. (that's the part the republican lemmings always leave out)That is why slick willie was not removed from office.

Yes Bill Clinton was impeached, however, Congress did find that his perjury wasn't vital to the United States (lied about sex). So he was found "not guilty" so to speak and finished out his term.

impeachment does not mean that you are removed from office it just means that charges are brought up against you

He was impeached for lying under oath but he served his full term. Impeachment does not mean that you are automatically removed from office, just brought up on charges.

Impeachment means that charges are brought against you. This happens in the House of Representatives. The charges are then taken up by the Senate in a trial before the full chamber. Clinton was impeached but found not guilty by the Senate in the trial. Hence he served out the rest of his term.Yes, Vice Presidents can be impeached.Generally, if a Vice President cannot serve out their term the President nominates a replacement which is then confirmed by Congress. The line of succession, since 1947 has been-PresidentVice PresidentSpeaker of the HousePresident pro tempore of the SenateRead the listed article for the other question.ETA: Clinton impeachment proceedings were instigated after he lied to a grand jury investigation as to whether he had an affair with a White House staffer, Monica Lewinsky. Since he lied before a grand jury he perjured himself, which is a crime. The Senate found him not guilty because it was decided that the lie had no ill effect on the government or nation.
