so wait a minute...i can't use my classic controller i just bought to play gamecube?

I bought 2 Wavebirds to play Gamecube games with. Now all games played on my Wii are with wireless controllers.

Yeah, I thought it was shitty they did that, but I snagged a Wavebird for $15 from gamestop, so I can't complain too much.

I think the original Xbox controller is the best controller a console has had. I have really big hands though.

The Dual Shock is just too small to use for extended gaming periods. My hands start to cramp after 3-4 hours of playing and the analog stick placement is horrible.

that's fucking stupid as fuck. what a waste of fucking money then. what's the point of thne classic controller when the gamecube controller ALSO plays VC games?

Classic controller doesn't have all the same buttons the Gamecube one had...

And btw, 360 controller> all other controllers.

The PS2 controller is WAY too small, and I've got fairly small hands.

Classic controller was made for the Virtual Console games. Now, granted, you can use the Gamecube Controller for them as well. But, it wouldn't be as well suited for some games. For instance....I wouldn't want to play Street Fighter with the Gamecube Controller, since it's D-Pad is really small, and towards the bottom. The Classic Controller is layed out in a way that reminds you of the old 8-Bit, and 16-Bit controllers....perfect for playings some of the old games.
