The question is... will I be able to be the unique one in the organization and use an e-series phone or am I going to be stuck with a pearl?

well there is a reason why its called "blackberry connect"

but i think it will work on the e61 if you got one that supports bb connect.

You can use an E series without a hitch! I'm using the Pearl right Now but I plan on putting it on my upcoming E90 as well. I had it installed on my E50 and my co-worker just got it on his E62 and it works as well as a traditional BB device. I think the Pearl is quicker and easier when it comes to email but without it, it's nothing more than a glorified rzr. Web browsing is so painful it's non-existant (and that includes Opera mini which runs really really slow). The sure type and track wheel are perhaps the 2 best features i've had on a phone though. For work the Pearl has proven to be a top notch performer so running 2 phones isnt bad either. I'll run with an n95 and Pearl until the E90 comes out then the pearl goes in the "drawer".

this is where you get the free software to enable blackberry connect on ANY E series device. I've set mine up and set up a coworkers yesterday and it's smooth as can be. Having BBC on an E series offers absolutely no disadvantges....unless your using something other than the E61/62, then you lose the qwerty capabilities you can get w/ traditional BB devices whether it be "suretype" or full keypad.

.........and dont chime in with your SU-8W rap Angel because it doesnt work when your standing in line at Starbucks!!!!!!

Hahah you guys made my night. It's going to be so sweet using a e61/e62/e61i/e90/e70/whatever with great abilities. I'm going to pwn everyone!~

How about calendar sync? Do RIM phones perform better Lotus Notes sync than S60 phones? My s60 phone syncs somewhat well with lotus already.

you should have some change left over then....the top tier BB plan on Cingular is $50 and i dont see why t-mo would be any different.

damn...

i just figured out something bad.

no S60 really can take advantage of the 3G here in the U.S. that really sucks looks like I may have to sport two devices when the time comes.. maybe a 3G RIM device and my e50.

Hopefully there will be a e62i that has HSPDA by that time on cingular or t-mobile but i'm not counting on it
