...people were eating? French Fries, they were serving french fries at a "health walk"... They were walking to raise money for heart disease and serving fried food..... And then people wonder why 2/3 of Americans are obese. Use your brain.
My question is, Why do people not control what they shovel in their mouths?

Some people enjoy eating and don't see the problems it causes until it's too late.

Other people eat due to stress.

It's unhealthy... but so is smoking and drugs! How many people are still actively doing that?

And that health walk food is astonishing. That just flies in the face of the whole purpose of the walk!!! That's just shameful.

Okay, I just got a good laugh from people serving french fries at a health walk. Duh!

I think that people cannot control what they shovel in their mouths because stuff that is unhealthy just tastes so darned good! Additionally, the bad stuff is convenient and cheap. You combine that with a society that is constantly on the go and obsessed with having everything fast and you have a recipe for disaster.

I really don't know why but I guess some have eating disorders and I think that is the most stupidest thing to serve fried food of all things at a heart disease fundraiser. Another reason why 2/3 of Americans are obese is because all these "Dollar Menus", and most people don't have a lot of time to cook a meal on lunch break. I do think they should jack up those prices at fast food places and maybe people wont buy it sooo much. =P Just my opinion.

Hahah funny, sometimes I can't help myself.
When I eat sushi I just eat and eat, and then all of a sudden the fullness just hits me and I'm like "ugh"
Really though, it is scary how so many people are fat and obese now. The average size of a women in America right now is like 14-16 right? That's REALLY scary.

Sometimes I think people need to pay just as much attention to what's coming out of their mouth as what's going in (I'm not referring to you, though, so don't get offended!)

Don't be so judgmental. People deal with things in their own way and not always a healthy way. I agree that it's not the wisest choice serving fried food for this particular event. Just remember that a lot of those people who are fat now weren't always that way and it can happen to anyone when they lose control. Be kind.
