No I am not. I had to follow the process to get my husband here. He has to abide by so many laws and rules or else THEY WILL SEND HIS ASS HOME and they could give a shit about me and our 2 kids. The economy sucks ass, he works hard, but if he gets laid off, HE GETS NO STATE AID OF ANY KIND, if he tries to file for it, THEY WILL SEND HIM HOME. If he doesn't let the proper authorities know of his new address within 10 days THEY CAN SEND HIS ASS HOME. He can be arrested for nothing, not even a petty crime or THEY WILL SEND HIS ASS HOME. He is required to show his green card when asked and he must have it on him at all times, OR THEY CAN SEND HIS ASS HOME.

You want to talk about paying more taxes and being productive? He needs to prove that he is actively working every year that he is in the US and that he is not collecting anykind of wage from any other country, he pays taxes but can not ask for any of the services some of those taxes goes for, yet he gets to provide the same services to those who are illegally He legally, bought a home, a car, and many other products.

But hey, lets go ahead and forget about how we track, follow and enforce all rules on those who come here legally and turn a blind eye to those who are here illegally.

Oh and he speaks perfect English, accepts the American culture 100% and loves this country.
 
Oh I disagree. By far, most do. You just never hear about the person/family that does the right thing every time in the news.

There's actually a pretty cool programme which allows US companies to sponsor foreign nationals. They get a green card, but not citizenship. It's pefect for seasonal workers, which a large contingent of these workers happen to be.

If they'd promote it more, it would work.
