so that shooter in norway killed dozens of people

he killed many more people than others who've committed mass shootings. why was this guy more effective at killing than others? how did he learn to become such a good shooter? the government in norway required him to take 15 shooting classes in order to get permission to purchase a handgun.

15 shooting classes? no wonder he was such an effective and accurate shooter

I've been trying to poison the well so to speak by suggesting someone poison malt liquor and leave the bottles around town where the homeless by choice folks frequent.

No takers.

so you're claiming he was a very good marksman because of this training

so this training should produce similar results in other people who undergo it

so show this?

those gun clubs are private, and have strong shooters as a result of the culture

i guess i can agree if this training is producing excelling shooters then it is a backfire. but ultimately i think that if the country's interests are served by people having guns, then they're served better by those people being good shots.

how so? even if they were marksmanship courses its irrelevant. If he had done this downtown Oslo he would have gotten killed in minutes. Planning did this, nothing else.

thx

yeah i mean i guess it sucks but it's not exactly what i'd call a backfire. if the people of norway have some interest in there being people who can legally use their own firearms, then they have an interest in those same people being able to do it well
