what did osama have to do with afghanistan? everyone knew he was hiding in pakistan for years. what was the justification for obama's surge plan? the withdrawal schedule still places 70,000 troops in afghanistan by next summer. and i have a feeling that this will never happen to begin with, just like shutting down guantanamo.
