so....now that wii is out, how are the graphics? REALLY?

Which is an incredibly rare occurance. It's not often that a game is both beautiful and has amazing game play. If it has both it's probably coming from one of the bigger game series. I'm not saying it's not possible, but games almost always lean towards gameplay or graphics.

Anyone would be silly to cut themselves off from PS3 in the future. It will eventually be good, just like the other playstations, but for now, I don't get why anyone would want one.

So the current facts would be... the PS3 costs over twice the price of the Wii. Correct? Both of the systems were released in the last 3 days. Look how much of this forum is people being 100% pleased with the Wii and look how much of the forum is complaining about PS3 bugs.

The fact is, the wii launched with some fun innovative games. PS3 will have them too.

i agree...we'll see what happens after a few months
so far, a 360 + gears of war sounds like it would satisfy my need for next gen gaming til i get my hands on a ps3
wii is interesting to me, but i'm not nearly sold on it.
 
More props to the wiimote for dildofying women. My gf wants one cause of the controller. She thinks she can play a game and get it to uber vibrate.
 
Well Wii running at 480p on a game like Red Steel looks pretty good (too bad the studio did not take better advantage of the system). No game for this first gen. of games has even come close to reaching the Wiis potential. The Wiii can look better than any Xbox game out there, it has the horse power...Developers just need to get with it. As of now I would say the best "looking" games for the Wii are actually Rayman cause of the Art direction and Red Steel (even though it is a "okay" game).
 
The Wii has about 2x the power of ps2/xbox/gamecube. Right now that's not showing, but give developers a fair amount of time and they'll take advantage of the Wii's graphic (and gameplay) capabilities.
 
Wow, Zelda. What are you, 16? I played Zelda back in the 80s, no fucking need to keep playing the same damn thing over and over again.

360 & PS3 = Graphics and real games
Wii = Shitastic graphics and yet more fucking Mario and Zelda games.
 
After playing Gears of War on my HDTV in 720p then seeing Red Steel on Wii on composite, I have to say.... fuck these gameplay whores! These graphics are shit house. Hell, even Halo 1 on original Xbox looks better than this poop.

I can not seriously go back from something like 360 to playing a game that looks like PS2.
Besides, so far (with the exception of Zelda ofcourse) 360 gameplay > Wii gameplay.

There are no other amazing games on the wii system except zelda, all the games are shithouse graphically and gameplay wise.



However, despite all this I'm still going to pick up a Wii. But its like gamecube all over again.
The controller is cool, but alot of the games are seriously asstacular and the only forgiving reason they are playable is because of the controller.

actually the graphics are not good but thats ok...its still fun. I'm just not used to the way to steer for xcite truck... though the wii sports game it came with, I like the boxing...

the controllers are awesome, they should vibrate more...its such a tease
