so....now that wii is out, how are the graphics? REALLY?

It has similar edges as PS2 and Xbox games, a little bit pixellated. You don't get the smooth textures that you find on 360 and PS3. There doesn't seem to be much AA being used.

I'm probably going to play through Zelda, which is a great game, and then sell the system.

The 360 or Ps3 doesn't even appeal to me at all. The originals were great because all the new shit they added from the original ps and nintendo. But if you take a look from the xbox and ps2 to the 360 and ps3 theres not enough change to make me actually go Wow I really want one. Plus the price tag and the fact that you need a really good television to get the full effect of what little upgrade they did makes me less want it. The newest tv I have is 10 years old Plus with the Wii at least you get something totally different from the controller style gaming that has become the staple in how your supposed to play your game.

Its funny how you all talk all this shit about the PS3 and the crackbox but one day, you'll buy one. Why? Because despite the great gameplay of your shitty looking games, you find out that they can still make great games with GREAT graphics on the other two systems.

Christ, a graphics fight? Nigga please.

I like Zelda on Wii, but to me, Gears of War kicks its ass all over the place in terms of being fun, especially GoW coop play on live.

And as for the other Wii games I have played..meh.

Gears of War isn't "fun" to me. Rayman Raving Rabbids is fun. Gears of War is just a challenging war-type 3rd person game. It's not fun to me and gets very boring after a while.

no shit, if this wasn't the case, everyone would be content to still play psx and dreamcast games. how the fuck could people not care about graphics at all.

the only reason I owned the first XBOX was because I moved into an apartment that gave me one for free when I signed up for a 6 month lease.

I sold it 6 months later. I never played it and the games I actually had an interest in turned out to be complete shit when it came down to it.

there is a PS2 in my arsenal, but I didn't buy it, it's my girlfriends', and the only game I've really played all the way through on it is God of War... and to be fair the only game I'm looking forward to on a Sony console is the sequel to that.

by the time I'll consider buying a 360 or a PS3 they'll have gone down in price so much it'll be nearly time for another generation to come and sweep us off our feet
