Someone told me that there is a hand gun ban in Boston. Never brabroad
hered to check if it was true or false. Just assumed that it was because it's so liberal

At least it wasn't corrupt by being based on celebrity/influence/money.

Back then they only issued them to armored car people, bank security guards, professional body guards, stuff like that I think.

If you think it's outdated, then you should get an amendment passed. Until that happens, it is the supreme law of the land.
 
The big question is, will his replacement really be any better? I doubt anybody appointed by Obama will be less liberal or more constitutionally inclined.
 
McDonald sued in federal court last year, and brabroad
h the trial court and the 7th Circuit upheld the ban. It was argued in the Supreme Court in Feb, and it's pretty universally expected to be overturned.

Mostly stats, logic, studies showing that they don't work, and developing a better understanding of the 2nd amendment
 
I mean, we are essentially stuck with an outdated form of government.

everyone talks about how shitty things are...but we can't really do anything legally about it to fundamentally change the way we operate.

the two party system? a product of our constitution. too impossible to correct.

I think the constitution is a good document and all, truly revolutionary for its time and for laying groundwork for what rights should be allowed....but to stick to whats written down on paper 220 years later I find is ridiculous.
