So Kanye West basically put Daft Punk on the map

qft. true on all accounts. except one. hip hop is not degrading. but for some reason there is no love for real hip hop. it's going underground. it's like a fraternity runs the fucking show now. want to know of some real good hip hop that's being made now in the late 2000's?

peep game.

^^ this last dude writes verses for drake.

money talks too loudly and it's destroying good music. all music. not just hip hop. creative control has been getting fucked up because noone cares about the music anymore. they just wanna get to the top and sip crystal with some bomb slut and brag about it. that's all these radio fags are about these days. the real music is in real life. not on TV. it's underground again. all music.

people love that radio shit too. "ooh girl!! we got dat dough!! sip crys, rap (substanceless rap) bout this 'n that yo" it's like people are fucking zombies.

I just realized how much of a troll this post really is.

The majority of musicians dont want their music in the main stream because main stream music is generally made bland so it can easily be shoveled down the throats of the masses.

all i know is "harder, better, faster stronger" was bumping in the clubs way before stronger came out. They also had 2 videos on much music and mtv over 10 years ago when i was in high school. If that's not considered "mainstream" i dunno what is. Not that it matters if it's mainstream or not. It gets people on the dance floor and that's what's important

You were obviously born yesterday. In fact I'm fairly certain DP were making music before you were born. Do you know how long these guys have been making music for?
