So I've read my palm and am having some troubles?

So I recently read my own palm and can't find the life line on my hand. I can see a blue vein but that's about it. What would that mean and should I try again ina few years? there is a line that connects with the second one down from the top (head I think) or heart of one of the two. It is far away from the thumb. If you could tell me anything you know about what I've discribed that's be excelent
