From what I understand with Obama's health care plan is....
...he doesn't want to nationalize it, but rather open the congressional health care plan as an option. If you have employer based coverage already, then you have the choice to keep it or go with the congressional plan. The benefit with opening up the congressional plan is....the more people that pay into it, the cheaper the coverage gets. Larger companies have cheaper (for the most part) health care plans, because of the number of employees they have paying into it (along with a few other factors). You make the congressional health care plan an option, the cost of that plan should be signifigantly less than a small company's plan as more and more people join into it, which then will force your major insurance providers to lower their costs as well.

honestly, all people should have basic healthcare. it doesn't matter who you are, you should have access to doctors and medicine. we are one of the richest countries in the world and we still have too many stupid things like this going on.

Universal Healthcare should be reason enough to not vote for Obama. Then you have his ideas on talking with our enemies(who have never wanted to talk in the 1st place) His crazy ass wife who thinks just like Rev Wright does about white people(read her thesis). Lets not forget pulling out of Iraq when we arent done, oh and his VP doesnt even think hes ready and he also thinks less than 6 months in Obama will be attacked for who he is.

He wants to force ME to pay for other people's healthcare whether or not they can afford it, whether or not they need it.
Under his plan there will be 4 categories of people who will be visiting doctors on taxpayer dollars.
- Don't need it, can afford it
- Need it, can afford it (the vast majority)
- Don't need it, can't afford it (get ready for lots of poor people with headaches in the ER)
- Need it, can't afford it (I feel bad for these people, but they can make it work with payment plans, etc. I also feel bad for people in Zimbabwe, but what can ya do)
