So is the N95 a keeper? Or do you want your money back? (or got it back already)

I like that! Not an Internet Edition or a Music Edition but a:

Nokia N95BE or Nokia N95HR

Those are things that should have been built in to begin with. ....although I don't think either are really much of a big deal. The 'out of memory' gallery issues that seemed to plague my N73 are completely gone from the N95 so that's a good thing. Battery issues are always going to be subjective and users opinions will vary as we all use it differently. I think the E90 is going to be both HR & BE out of the gate!

Not a keeper for me......too many applications and the one's important to me either drained the battery too much or was not compatible. E-series phones suit me better.

Well do not forget that this phone is quite expensive and people do not really want to lose money... The price of a new one has fallen about 260 cad already within about two weeks... So to sell one now as used would be a bit of a loss...

Also, I think many are realizing that this is "it" in terms of phones: if they honestly didn't want to buy a phone for a while, it wouldn't really hurt them because the N95 literally has everything. It isn't like an N80 or an N73 that has left out a thing here or there to warrant an upgrade. This -should- definitely be a keeper for most people who already enjoy it -

The phone is definitely a keeper but...oops...I sold it. Great phone and everything that it was cracked up to be but my needs have unfortunately changed. Qwerty and a massive screen for email and web browsing. E61/62/61i is the smallest I'll accept and ultimately the E90 will be the "keeper"

If it came with ~80MB of Ram free on bootup like the E90 or even ~44MB like the N76, I would get it in a heartbeat, but with only ~20MB and pretty much no chance of multitasking: thanks, but no thanks. I cannot deal with another S60 phone that is just not capable of multitasking in any meaningful way - that alone is a deal breaker with me. I'm glad I didn't make a mistake of buying it - I would have most likely returned it if I did.

To be honest with you the memory isn't really much of an issue. Obviously a phone like the E90 will allow true multi tab browsing which will be just sick but the N95's gallery never really had memory issues like the N73. On my N73 you would have to reboot the phone to zoom in on a 3.2 mp photo most of the time but on the N95 it would always zoom to the max on a 5mp with no problems. Browsing was no problem either. Obviously the gallery, web browser, and camera will suck up a ton o' ram so exiting them is recommended but leaving contacts, logs, etc etc didn't seem to slow the phone down at all. It's really got me excited about the future of S60 as it's UI is just sooo fast it's sickening at times.

It's a -keeper- for me. I absolutely love it and I didn't think I would. I thought the battery issue would do it for me, but I am loving my first experience with Sybian OS and the wealth of apps for it.

With conditionning and less non-stop fiddling with the phone (but still good real-world usage for me) -- I am now getting a solid 2 days on a full charge -- that works for me. I have an oem car charger too and the home charger does a full charger in about 1-1.5 hours i think, very fast.

coming from a whole bunch of samsungs and Motos, I never thought i'd go back to nokia, let alone a "big" and "bulky" phone.

woo....be careful buddy. It's symbian! Sybian and Symbian are 2 different worlds.

....and your sick if you know what I'm talking about...
