So I'm on birth control but I had sex while I was on my period, does this matter?

So I'm on birth control but I had sex while I was on my period, does this matter? I went to planned parenthood and told them I needed a morning after pill but they said I didn't need one cause I'm on the pill, but I didn't ask them if it made a difference that i was on my period at the time.. should I be worried or am I still good?
