so im building a tower...?

something like a medieval keep, im thinking i should use steel beams to suport the walls and a center beam to suport a second floor, any ideas suggestions, i think ill go w concrete blocks for the walls and just cover the outside w a face, and the inside w plaster and maybe some frescos to decorate,
does anybody know of any references i can use, oh and a roman arch door w some limestone blocks or w some concrete molded blocks idk.

depending how high you want it -but if its just two stories I doubt if you need steel beams
