support the child? Considering as abortions at that late date are only done because the fetus has shown severe abnormalities are you, as a tax payer, happy to then support the child throughout it's short and probably painful life? And support the parents of that child while they struggle to care for it? And pay for their home to be remodeled for the child's needs? Or pay for the child to be cared for by Social Services?
Hospitals will only perform abortions after 20-22 weeks in cases of extreme need. Deciding you don't fancy having a baby does not count as extreme need so you can discount that.
 
I cant believe that there are people opposing this in cases where the child is severely deformed. Of course they wouldnt be willing to pay.
 
i think 24 weeks is too late. there are too many women having abortions as a lifestyle choice and that is wrong. if theres a medical reason they can get an abortion at a later date if need be but they hsouldnt be allowed to do it on a whim because they forgot to use contraception
