beautiful fish to get? no i do not need to start on freshwater then brackish because my father knows what hes doing. i just need to know the estimate cost and what some of the best lookin fish are. i REALLY like mandarin goby's so somethin around those lines i guess. just please dont tell me only goby species.

oh and id also like to know what other animals except snails to get to aid in the cleaning of the tank and possibly reduce the crazy work load a salt water tank takes ha ha THANK YOU! :)
 
manderin gobies are gorgeouse, but one of the harder fish to keep., i would suggest you do research for like a year or two, then find an established set up on craigslist, good luck
 
It depends on the size and what kind reef fish only. Tanks are cheap. Get a good fillter like hang on back pac with protein skimmer for like 300. Heater for 20 to 200 light any where from 30 to 2000 It all depends on what you want. Flame angels are pretty fish I also like candy hogfish. File fish are pretty but like manderine gobies need a lot of live rock and established tank

a little too broad of a question there, i can tell you ive spent close to $3000.00 on my 90 gal tank (150 gal total system volume) and that was with tank, stand, canopy, 2 sumps, skimmer, return pump, and power heads all given to me for free from the start
