So I witnessed a car accident this morning...?

I was sitting at a stop sign and it happened. If either car had been going much faster they would have been pushed into mine.
Anyways, I stayed long enough to see that everyone was alright and someone in the other car made a call to the police. (It really wasn't that bad - a t-bone kind of but both cars were still driveable.

Was I under any obligation to stay there? It was fairly obvious whose fault the accident was too...
Will I get in trouble for not staying?

Also.. is it normal to be scared for a little bit after that happened? I mean one of the cars could have hit me...
 
you should of left your number for both of them to give the police, that you're the witness.

but no worries. is their problem.
