So I just installed Vista......

WTF is with aero not working, everytime I turn it on it just seems to stay on the standard vista windows. I installed an OEM version of ultimate and my computer is certainly more than up to handling the challenge. I installed the new version of Java too just to make sure, still seems to be problems. Am I missing something? Also, even with the newest updates, I don't seem to have Dreamscene, any thoughts?

I am having the same problem. But I haven't had time to properly problem check it yet.
I am running whatever drivers that Nvidia gave to me for my 8800 card when I went to the Nvidia site. I didn't get Beta drivers because I am only running the 32 bit version of Vista.

it seems as though the software for logitech harmony remote I have, causes vista some pain, logitech still hasnt gotten off their asses and released vista drivers, they say april, we shall see

Try 101.41 beta drivers. They take care of alot of issues, although they seem to crash more often than the 100.xx series.

For dreamscene you have to click ultimate extras in the start menu and then choose to download it. It doesn't auto download with the update (at least not for me). You can also get texas hold 'em

I have the same problem when I have Trillian running because its not compatible with the Aero interface. As soon as I exit the program, though, it switches back and works fine.
