So I fancy myself a poet at times?

And what shall become of me,
if I were to falter
Even though it may be that in this life,
I will not breathe it in
That sweetest of fragrance
may hap the flower
is beyond my reach
Or that when I,
should happen upon it,
the petals have become
withered from neglect
Shall I become anything less
than a dreamer still,
or will that day find me
awakened without,
hope has been lost
and old age has settled in
Oh but should I regret, for
were those days spent in
but careless dreaming
If you did not do them, then why regret it?
This seems odd to me?
I would only regret something I did not do if I knew that it would have resulted in a particular way, but often the things I did not do are not so...easily determinded, so I will not regret them.
"Sieze the day is for the lazy, sieze the moment and be the change you wish to see"
I put it in quotations in case I did not say it first

You are a very good poet. Me, in my best writing is not even 1/10 as good as you on a bad day. You have a gift that I hope you always nurture. I always read what you write, and, while I may not agree with you, I always appreciate your talent. Thanks for sharing. God bless.

Carpe diem. Seize the day and follow your dreams for old age is living to tell others about your great adventures, not regrets! Your words speak.

I absolutely adore the way your words flow, you have tremendous talent it would be wise of you to work on your poetry because you can tell trough your writing you positively love poetry and you can tell you have Passion and a god given ability; once again lovely poem.

Wisdom speaks, Nice pen

"I will not regret the past nor wish to shut the door on it."

"I cannot change the past, but I can the future."

"Life is to be understood backwards, but lived forward."

I find that I regret things I did not do, rather than things I did. No day, nor life, is wasted, though it be spent in careless dreaming.

Excellent poetry, again.
