So, how many of you think A.R. Rehman. deserved to win an Oscar for the "Best Original Song" and "Best Original Score "???Do you think there were better ones than this.?Just curious to know.anyway im giving thumbs up to everyone cos i just wanted an opinion.I thought AR Rehman scored far far better songs than that in Bollywood and other Indian languages.To me its a great tribute to such a talented Music director.
 
i think his were more original i loved it and couldn't understand a word of it.
 
I dont really know. It is hard to judge the best. It was certainly different than most movies shown in the US on a National scale. So, sure why not. It was the best picture by the academy, so the music must have been great. Especially when the music was so fused with the editing.
 
I figured he'd win best song since 2 out of the 3 nominations were his. I only saw Benjamin Button out of the nominees, and I didn't think the score was amazing by any stretch. Since he didn't have John Williams to compete with, then sure, let him win.
