So...how can you tell whether a guy sees you as more of a friend or just a joke?

There's a guy I'm friends with and every time we're around each other we hug. There are tons of other girls around that are more attractive but, instead he comes to me? He always comes to me first. Always is hugging me and picking me out of every crowd? Every time I'm around him I can't help but laugh or smile. The only problem is... I can't distinguish whether he sees us as just friends or more than that. He sends so many mixed signals it's pathetic. He may leave in a month or so....Who knows? All I know is I'm tired of playing mind games.
 
You could always have a friend ask him for you if you're too nervous to ask him what his deal is?.. Maybe you're more attractive than you give yourself credit for? It sounds like you like him, since you smile every time you see him. What are the mixed signals he send you?
 
By the info you put up there it really could go either way.. no wonder you're confused. If he's leaving in a month you should just go for it. There's no use to keep it back anymore because if you say anything to him and he doesn't feel the same way it doesn't really matter because he won't be there anymore.
 
well first you gota ask urself: are u into him? because if ur not, then try not to pay mind to it. especially if he's leaving. it'll make things more difficult for u. it seems that this guy may be acting this way because he likes u, jus maybe not ready to be in something serious, so that's maybe why he flirts but doesn't follow through. i think its safe to just let it go
 
I would kiss him no matter what. He would just die down to my arms, his six pack abs against my skin, he'll be melting in my pants... ;)
 
if he leaving soon, don't waste your time! if he stays, just ask him why he doesn't have a girlfriend? maybe he'll take the hint, maybe not.. let him make the move
