have a room with two focal points one is my fireplace wall and the other is in the dining area. I have decided to paint,but would like to unite these two focal points.So how would I paint the wall? (my walls are divided by a door opening)
I thought about maybe painting the dinining area lighter or maybe painting around the fireplae In a totaly different color or maybe a white so that it reflects the living area. Or should I use a similar color so that the contrasts is reduced.
Just not really sure which one would look right for this project and advice,is helpful at this point.
