here are some examples of wealth creation.

if I get some oil out of the ground and refine it into gasoline. gasoline is more valuable than oil in the ground, wealth has been created.

if I take steel and other materials and build a car, the car is more valuable than the raw materials, therefore wealth has been increased.

i'd say you could eat at home on the cheap for about 40/wk per person. so about 150 a month, or for two people about 300.
