Sony used a company called Immersion for their rumble technology. Microsoft buys 5% of Immersion stock. Immersion now wants $100 million to liscence their technology to Sony. Sony says, "fuck that".
 
they'll be lucky if they can produce 1.2 million in a year, let alone 12 million.


and i can afford a ps3, i just don't see how it is worth it to buy one now. typically you don't put money into something now that won't give you results for 6 months, if in 6 months it's going to cost the same and be a better product (you know, after the software updates come and the kinks are worked out). there's only one game out right now that is even worth playing on a ps3 (resistance fall of man), and it's not even getting a 9 out of 10 in the reviews. the multi-platform games are ALL getting better reviews on the other systems, so that's a moot point.

so lol at pussyhurt faggots that overpaid for a currently under performing product and continue to sackride it (unless your sole reason for purchase was to play blu-ray dvds on your 1080p tv. of which there are, what, less than 100 titles?)

now, can we put the "ps3 > *" and the "* > ps3" crap to bed already? the end of the story goes like this: the ps3 pretty much sucks right now for anything other than movie watching, however in 6 months to a year it should be worth the purchase.
