hmm tough decision- i would say wait for the bold but att release just got delayed and tmo usually doesnt get the phones until 6 months later! so i would say go with the curve and do a device software upgrade to the 4.5 os - it will be cheaper and you wont have to wait another 9-10 months

That is true about T-moble releasing their phone a few months later; BUT! T-Mobile has schedule a release for end of August going off of AT&T July release. T-Mobile has confirm this even after AT&T has push the're back to that time frame as well.

Go with T-Mobile. AT&T has a virus call improper billing, also i don't think you will like the AT&T service plans. there blackberry plan is $30 on top of you regular plan; T-Mobile is $20 extra.

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~i would say get the Curve now with TMO. It is an awesome phone. The Bold is going to cost twice as much and a ways off. I recently saw the Curve was offer for $69.00 with a contract at Bestbuy. That was at our local one in Pensacola. I am on a trip from FL to NJ by car right now. Not once have I lost service. When I didn't have wifi at a hotel I used my Curve with my laptop and its data plan. Get the curve. You will love it.

i just got an 8120 from tmo a couple weeks ago and love it...just bought a few accessories off of ebay last night...but now you guys are making me want to get a curve! i like the size of the pearl and all, but i feel like i MUST work with a curve now...anyone got any leads on a decent priced curve? at least i could use it as a back up phone...

worst case senario, you get a curve off of craigslist or something, with them going in store for $150 you should be able to get a good deal, that way you can save your upgrade for whatever phone is out at the end of the year that you have your eye on.

i love my curve!!

You should wait. The javelin (curve 2nd gen) is rumored to launch in early 2009 for Tmo.

If you can't, pick up a secondhand curve then buy the new curve when it's out.

I just got a sunset curve after having a 8100 and a 8120(which I still love). I am anchiously awaiting yhe Javelin as well myself. I opted to save my upgrade and inatead picked the NIB curve up off ebay for a bit under $200. I feel like it was a smart move. Just getting used to curve but haven't had a full qwerty phone before.
