Kiplinger is reporting a bill its working its way through the house that all 3-owner-and-less S Corporation personal service firms will be subject to the 15.3% SECA tax starting January of 2011 up to the social security limit of $106,800 (Assuming we don't see a removal of the cap). The medicare portion is uncapped on taxability.

We can thank such lovely anti-business thieves like Charlie Rangel for putting this on the agenda.

This is going to mean a lifestyle change for a number of S Corporation owners, myself included.

Lovely.

Yes, I'm complaining about a tax increase. I don't like paying more taxes; I certainly don't like paying substantially more taxes, especially when those taxes go to a program that I will most likely see no benefit from.

I also don't like handing people I don't know large handfuls of cash or setting fire to my own personal effects.

Hint, those posts are trabroad
ally out of character for me, but go ahead and think I was being serious, especially when I run a small business

He's a two term president bro, dollars to doughnuts. Can't wait to see what he'll tackle in his second term

The US had this coming for a long time, if you think Obama is solely to blame for all of it you're fucking retarded.

You don't know that price point, to say you do is folly. You may see the price wind up going higher than the increased taxation break-even point and you might see increased revenue as tax preparers that weren't as financially sound as you are leave the industry, increasing demand for your services.

You don't know any of these things, this law might be a boon for you and your services, especially when you start bitching and get the law requiring competency exams passed.

werd, promrabroad
ing less entitlements and more personal responsibilities would really help this economy. nrabroad
that our government would actually do that
