So....At Worlds' End

Too many subplots, not enough humor, what the fuck was with calypso...I mean, they freed her, she created a whirlpool, then disappears from the movie?

Saw it this weekend. I thought the movie was full of one liners and Disney put way too much comedy in it. I loathed the part where Will and Elizabeth got married during battle.

Werd, that bitch was totally useless, expected her to grow a 10 foot dick and go bro raping all the pirates and everyone in the ass

that was the shittiest movie i have seen in a theatre in a long time, since lady in the water.

the plot was completely convoluted and stupid.
it was an hour too long.
it relied completely on special effects to cover for the fact that the story was retarded.
depp's character is old and busted.
orlando bloom is a faggot.

i was tottally exhuasted when i saw it and wanted to fall asleep, but the only thing that kept me up was waiting to see keith richards.

the debate kinda leans towards no. "the ship must always have a captain."

i think he just gets to go screw elizabeth and see his son for a day.

i heard there was a cut scene that was supposed to explain how will could get free. overall the movie was entertaining but that little plot point still confuses me a bit

it wasnt a bad movie....it just had alot of really bad parts.....dont get me wrong for the most part the fight scene between the pearl and the dutchman was badass but the marriage part was absolutely stupid....plus the fact that it was hyped through the whole movie that the pirates make their final stand....and the only pirates that fought were the 2 ships....granted the pirates would have gotten wailed on but still it was disappointing to see that everyone basically just sat back and watched. plus the whole kalypso thing was stupid to....they kept bringing her up and then she does basically nothing ....might as well just cut her out of the movie

I think the whole thing with only the pearl and the dutchman fighting was because both sides knew that if the pearl couldn't take down the dutchman, no one could, and if the pearl was taken down, then the pirates were even more fucked than before. I actually liked that they kept Calypso out of the fight except for the maelstorm because that made it more about ship fighting and not who some goddess chooses to win or lose. Also, Barbossa kept saying something about how Calypso made things fair back when she was not bound and it seems that's what she did with the maelstorm, made it so that just the pearl and the dutchman could fight and neither really had an advantage.

Only slow, unimaginative people thought the movie was too long. Just the story development and cinematography was enough to keep me interested! I think it sucks that Will, will forever be bond to the Dutchman though, all while Elizabeth and their son grow older but he doesn't.

Ummm yeah that was pretty much common sense, being as though they explained that part in the movie. The first 10 year stint was at the very end of the movie, he came back, banged her and was gone. Then after the credits, he comes back, and BAME 10 years later he has a 10 yr old son.
