snow white and the seven dwarves - disney DVD

PLAY deliveries seem all over the place at the moment.

I had 2 Blurays posted Thursday last week and a dvd last Friday.

One Bluray arrived Saturday and the other Monday.

The dvd is still not here

Sleeping Beauty Bluray was posted yesterday so there's a slim chance of tomorrow.

One thing I have noticed on PLAY the last few months is items listed as being posted , then after 4 or 5 days I double check the posting date and its been changed to 2 days later which explains the delay.

This has happened at least 4 times although not to the dvd posted last Friday which is now overdue

Yeah Play are being a bit strange rescently.
And by accident i have placed an order for 2 copies of the sleeping beauty dvd. And now there is no option to cancel and it's been 'posted'.
So i have no idea what to do now.

Aww i love Sleeping Beauty! I used to watch this over & over again when i was little and the tape is old & worn out so it doesn't work anymore. My favourite scene is when the 3 fairies try to make a birthday cake and dress for the Princess without the use of their wanRAB. It's a brilliant scene! :D And i remember the witch used to scare me. :o

I will definitely be buying the book styled edition and add it to my Disney DVD collection.

My other favourite Disney movies are -

The Lion King
Beauty & the Beast
Aladdin

Buyers should beware when buying deleted Disney titles from Play.com traders.

There are a few on there - especially with R1 titles that are selling bootleg copies.

They seem to have every Disney title - even the ones that have been deleted for a few years yet they have the 2 disc sets new and sealed for less than

Aaaaah "Sleeping Beauty", one of my favorite Disney Movies of all time not to mention that Maleficent is actually my all time favorite Disney Villian:cool:.

I truly do hope I manage to buy this while it's still out.

While we're on the subject hear are my other favorite Disney Movies:).

(In no particular order)

The Sword In The Stone (Most funniest Disney Movie EVER:D!)
Beauty And The Beast
Aladdin
Enchanted (Don't know if this counts or not but hell I'll put it in anyway.)
The Lion King
Basil The Great Mouse Detective (Probably the most underated Disney Movie ever IMO.)
The Black Cauldron (Another underated Disney Movie IMO.)
The Hunchback Of Notre Dame
Robin Hood
The Little Mermaid
Bambi
Dumbo (This Film makes me so bloody angry:mad:! Poor Jumbo/Dumbo:(!)
Pinocchio (If there's one Film that made damn sure that you should never, EVER speak to Strangers it's this Film:o.)

Thanks for that advice. I hardly buy with play.com anymore, mainly amazon and when i have purchased Disney dvRAB off of amazon it has been via them not used and new.

I've just ordered a disney 102 dalmatians game for my PC. I remember playing it when i was little on gameboy! ahh the memories.

Yeah it's a great movie Sleeping beauty as are all the disney movies IMO.
I believe disney is for everyone because it highlights different issues in different ways.
Cannot wait to get my copy on monday and see Malef!
LOL Paul o grady made me laugh the other night when he said that he got his copy of sleeping beauty via post and there was no disc in it! he said he was fuming because he wanted to watch it at the weekend! haha.

can some one here answer a question for me regarding a recent Sleeping Beauty dvd?
a few days ago my grandad saw an amercian singer Mary (don't know her second name. I don't think it was Mary Cyrus, he called her a woman) on tv and she was promoting the new Sleeping Beauty dvd and the songs she sings on it. annoyingly he can't recall if this was the Disney version or not. does this new release feature new songs by an american singer, whose first name is Mary? odd question I know, but he wants this for his Birthday (Tuesday) and we want to make sure we get the right release, if any one can help that would be great.

Mary Costa.:) Mary does the voice of Auroua (Sleeping Beauty) and also sings one song in the actual movie of the 50th release from what i can remember, which is 'once upon a dream'.

That is the only song she sings in the movie. However, there is a Mary Costa CD available on the net.

Don't listen to 'em!! I know quite a few straight Disney fans, so you're not alone. :)

Love them for the art form that they are, and I'm glad to hear that you don't worry what people think!

Oh poor bugger.

Loved Mary Costa on his show - not doing to bad for her age is she?

Will have to get this DVD as well to add to my collection. One of the Studio's masterpieces.

haha i'll lend Paul my copy!;)

What i love about disney is the fact that Beauty and the beast, cinderella, snow white etc arn't actually disney's creations (hans andersons) yet they are made their own in a unique way.

Genius.
