Snake habitat/rack heating/flexwatt question ?

I am building a snake rack by building a shelf out of wood accordingly to fit the plastic tubs if I put flexwatt and foil tape on wooden shelf under each tub will it melt the tub I don't think they get that hot but I don't want to find out the hard way
And any other heating or rack building tips u can give me would be greatly appreciate

no it wont melt the tubs. a lot of people do it and you wont have any problems.
the good thing about flexwatt is they dont need a heavy airflow like heat pads do either. so don't worry
