SMS Signature

Is there a way to set a signature for text messages because I can't find it.

haha but you are mistaken... you can set one in chomp sms or handcent sms

Ok, let me delve further into my comment. No you can not with the included Messaging app, but if you were to download and install the aforementioned third party messaging apps, I'm sure the option is included.

I dont like TXT message signatures. They become to repetitive. Some people put too much on them. lOl.

Do they count towards the character count? Is there a character count in sms, or is that only in mms? What is the difference between sms and mms?

Sigs to count against your standard text message 160 character limit. So if your Sig is 10 characters, you'll only have 150 characters to formulate your text message.

SMS = Text Messaging

I'd tell you what the letters stood for, but I forgot. haha

There is a character count on SMS and only when an MMS has added on text to it.

And I'm not sure, but I'm pretty positive they count as character count because they are sent like a regular message.

really, it's for teens who want to be quotes or their street name at the end of a message. haha.. Like Mikey pointed out, they're pretty corny.

Thanks for clarification. That actually reminded me, mm stands for multimedia something. And sm i'd guess stands for standard message something?
