sms problems after flash and number transfer

my sms will receive but not send sms. it is a sprint samsung instinct. when i try to send a sms it fails and say "call customer service and report a code 97" i dont know whats wrong with it, but none of the take the battery out and resets and all that dont work. the cricket c.s. even reset the settings within my account. so could it be something is wrong with the flash that was done. does someone have a real answer and not tell me i should do hard reset?
 
I am a dealer that flashes phones a lot and I often get this. Customer Service and tech support seem clueless. I generally email someone at our corporate store that gets it working. I usually see this when a phone is selected as "CPE" (Customer Provided Equipment) in the system. For some reason it sometimes removes SMS from the account in HO (the background billing system and switch interface) but still appears in CID (the GUI that CSR's and sales reps use to activate). If the code is readded in HO it should work fine. Don't call customer service, go to a full service company owned retail store OR an agent that deals with flashing who will know how to get in touch with someone to get the code added correctly.
 
ok, I appreciate all the help ya'll gave me. But I got it figured out. i emailed the guy who sold me the phone. He told me it is a common problem and I needed to call tech support at cricket and have them refresh my text messaging. He also told me i might have to call them a couple times until its done properly. Well i did it and after the first try my text was working fine. I had them do the same for the internet because all i got from my web was a thing saying i need to give cricket 5 dollars and subscribe to web. I was already subscribed to the web. so i had them refresh the internet then the net worked phone. Hope someone who has this problem in the future can find this answer, you go crazy sometime googling and trying to find an answer you just can't find.
