O.k so today my mom was going to pick me up when she said i'm almost their but hurry because smoke started coming out of where you have the switches to move the mirror's and when I got in the truck it smelled like burned wires it also smelled really bad. The truck has also been having a defect that the mirror on the driving side can be put down. This is the same side where the smoke came out.My mom bought the truck from a Ford Agency here in Austin,Texas so I was wondering if anything can be done.I was also wondering what precautions she could take.

As a general rule smoke=problem. Even if its minor you don't want to self diagnose that sort of thing if you don't know anything about cars. Its hard to say what a car's problem is unless you can get a knowledgeable person physically there looking at it.

Call the dealership where you purchased the car and tell them what's going on. If the car is still driveable, take it to the dealership and have it fixed - hope you've got some sort of warranty left on it.
Don't use those switches or any buttons/switches near them until after the car has been examined by the dealership.
