Heard a loud pop a week ago, theres a hole in my muffler, my parents are telling me its fine to drive it, that the only thing wrong with it is the noise. yesterday i saw some smoke coming from underneath the car when i started it. it's a 92 ford taurus wagon. is it safe to drive? i have to drive to and from school everyday and it's about a 5 mile drive. when and what should i be fixing/replacing? i dont feel safe driving my care at all.
