My husband and I had sex earlier today. He used his fingers as well. It sort of happened spontaneously...but, as awful as it sounds, he hadn't showered in a few days. (Gross, I know...he can be a lazy bugger.) he also didn't wash his hands before using them on me.
I showered right after sex.
All day (the past 12 hours after sex), I have felt like I can smell myself...like something smelled a little foul. It almost smells like the scent you can get just before getting your period....but it's different. I'm thinking it's too early for an infection to have formed.
Problem is, I have a gynecologist appointment tomorrow evening. I'll of course be showering beforehand....but I'm nervous about going and having...well...a rank-smelling vagina. I'm sure he's seen worse...but it's making me self-conscious.
I've never used a douche before...I've heard they're not very healthy. But I'm wondering if it would be a good course of action if the smell doesn't go away by tomorrow.
