SmartTag, EZ-Pass?

All, I was wondering if anyone uses one when riding. Specifically if you do not mount it to the bike. I have heard just putting it in my jacket will work, but would rather ask for proven methods before trying this.

Mine is on my windshield. Not too pretty but I hated getting those violations in the mail!

I've had varying results trying to use it in my jacket. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. Same with the tankbag. I eventually just put two little velcro strips on my windshield and on the tag itself.

Never fails.

I just stick mine to the windshield, with the smoked shield you dont see the black velcro when its not mounted.

I have also heard that if you have it in your jacket and it doesn't scan, when they send you the ticket you juts send it back with your code info and they will then deduct the normal toll fee.

Or do the squid way and wheelie through the scanner so the can't read your license plate. (that was a joke)
